Taylor Swift and Keds Spring/Summer Collaboration

I’m pretty sure most, if not all, of you know Taylor Swift. If not, you just have to “google” her up as she — yes, she — recently flaunted her Keds spring 2014 fashion style. I’m pretty sure young women (and maybe the not-so young) would love her style for this season.

For your sake, let me give you a glimpse to her Keds fashion drama. Keep on reading, ladies!

Taylor Swift recently collaborated with Keds for their spring/summer shoe collection. Isn’t it amazing? Isn’t it exciting?

Keds Champion collection has been the inspiration for Taylor Swifts’ eleven designs for the shoe brand. If you take a look at all those styles, you would notice that Taylor Swift has kept them wholesome.

New colorful keds fashion!

Sneakers have gone well beyond being a functional shoe used for athletic endeavors, and are now considered to be more of a fashion statement than ever before. I found Nike Air Yeezy Glow In The Dark Womens Shoes!

First of all I want to thank Jennifer, a girl I met in San Francisco, for an idea. She asked me to find “Nike’s Air Yeezy Glowing sneaks for women”.

Well I made a search… I should say – a great design! Loved even men’s designs. BUT I did find women’s with affordable pricing. Check them out:

I did more research and found THE NIKE AIR YEEZY II – nice job on styles and design. There I could not say if they are only for men or women. I would wear those:

As Nike,Inc say, “There’s absolute function at the Air Yeezy II’s core. Unnecessary padding was eliminated, and the foot-hugging tongue and plush collar are both comfortable and breathable. Fit was essential to the design with the goal to make the shoe slimmer than the original by tailoring it to Kanye West’s foot. The collar was also lowered to allow for greater movement.”

What to wear with keds?

This question is asked a lot. I also wear keds very often and sometimes I wonder if a skirt and keds is actually appropriate. I made a research and found some dress patterns you may like and utilize:

1) For teenagers: blue canvas keds, no socks, white tunic or dress. Should be short.

2) For romantic look: long dress (one color) + bright colored scarf and same color canvas keds. In this case pink works great with beige.

3) Going party? Shiny skirt and gangster sneaks work best!

4) On cold days: high white sneakers with stylish velcro laces add style to your classical coat and spaghetti trousers:

5) Nest outfit for colorful bright sneakers: high hilled anckle top sneaks with colored lines and stylish accessories will excite everyone around you:

OAT sneakers: eco-friendly sneaks you bury after you are done!

OAT shoes have a line of sneakers.  According to Springwise newsletter, this biodegradable shoe company recently brought out a new ‘Limited Skin Collection’ — a series of sneakers made from colorful leathers developed by Royal Hulshof Tanneries. The leathers are completely biodegradable and are made using non-toxic tanning agents.

OAT concept is simple: When it’s time to throw away the OAT Shoe, the wearer simply buries it instead. The shoe is fully biodegradable, and, as such, could be used to help other plants grow. Keen to realize their vision of a fully biodegradable shoe whilst incorporating a stylish design, the team at OAT Shoes were forced to develop and source many of their own materials and processes.

OAT Shoes founder Christiaan Maats says, “It makes sense to make products that are part of the planet we party on. We all like the nice bits in fashion, so why not make those bits fully biodegradable?”.

It made sense to the judges at the Green Fashion Awards too, where OAT Shoes walked away with a prize.
